Public -vs- Private Courses

The course at Rockledge Country Club welcomes you with a comfortable par 5 on the first hole, but don’t be fooled.  The 6,500-yard course offers an exciting challenge for golfers of all levels – especially #6, a favorite among the members, with its shots into the wind and over water onto the sloping green.  You’ll be proud to conquer this #1 handicap hole.

As a member of Rockledge Country Club, you’ll enjoy golf experiences that aren’t possible on a public course.  You have the option to consider whether you want to walk the course that day or take a cart.  With tee times spaced at least eight minutes apart – unlike public courses, which try to squeeze you in every six minutes – you’ll spend more time walking and playing this classic course and not waiting for the group ahead of you.

Another privilege of membership is being able to escape to a retreat of scenic, manicured fairways surrounded by mature trees and lush landscaping – not condo developments and strip malls.  Our course superintendent and staff are constantly at work to provide you with a superior course, superb short-game and sand-play practice areas, and putting green.
